Velesto jackup starts long-term drilling contract for PETRONAS Carigali

PETRONAS Carigali has contracted Velesto Energy’s jackup NAGA 2 for a five-year drilling campaign that will continue through 2030.

Operations started last month.

NAGA 2 is an independent-leg cantilever jackup drilling rig rated to operate to a drilling depth of up to 30,000 ft, and in water depths of up to 350 ft.
