ONGC takes Vantage drillship for three-year campaign offshore India

Vantage Drilling International has a binding Notification of Award (NoA) from ONGC for the Platinum Explorer deepwater drillship.

This covers a three-year firm campaign offshore India, with the option for a one-year extension.

Vantage estimates the total contract value at $261 million, excluding managed pressure drilling services.

The contract is due to take effect no later than 180 days after the issuance of the NoA.
