ONGC taking Transocean drillship to India

ONGC has confirmed a binding Notification of Award to Transocean for use of the drillship Dhirubhai Deepwater KG1 offshore India.

STEINHAUSEN, Switzerland — ONGC has confirmed a binding Notification of Award to Transocean for use of the drillship Dhirubhai Deepwater KG1 offshore India.

Estimated value of the 21-month program, due to start early next year, is $222 million plus a mobilization fee of $5 million.
