Northern Ocean’s Deepsea Bollsta semisubmersible drilling rig has started a 12-month firm contract offshore Namibia for Shell Upstream Namibia.

HAMILTON, Bermuda—Northern Ocean’s Deepsea Bollsta semisubmersible drilling rig has started a 12-month firm contract offshore Namibia for Shell Upstream Namibia.

Odfjell Drilling prepared the rig for the campaign and will provide operations management. Shell has an option to extend the rig’s contract by a further six months.
