    Odfjell Drilling semisub secures work with Shell offshore Namibia

    On behalf of Northern Ocean, Odfjell Drilling has agreed with Shell on a drilling contract for the Deepsea Bollsta semisubmersible offshore Namibia.

    KOKSTAD, Hordaland — On behalf of Northern Ocean Ltd. (NOL), Odfjell Drilling has agreed with Shell on a drilling contract for Deepsea Bollsta offshore Namibia.

    The contract is expected to commence in the middle of fourth-quarter 2022 and has an estimated firm duration of 12 months plus one six-month option.

    Odfjell Drilling said it will immediately begin reactivation activities and mobilization preparation and looks forward to working with NOL and Shell to meet contract expectations safely and efficiently.
