    Petrobras reaches agreement on Bahia re-gas vessel lease

    RIO DE JANEIRO – Petrobras has signed a lease contract with Excelerate Energy for the LNG Regasification Terminal of Bahia (TR-BA) and associated facilities, effective until December 2023.

    Excelerate is now seeking, with Petrobras’s support, the transfer of the licenses and authorizations to operate a new regasification vessel at TR-BA.

    Once the new company is able to operate, Petrobras plans to move the current re-gas vessel at the site to the LNG Regasification Terminal of Pecém, in Ceará.
