    Petrobras extends contract for FPSO BW Cidade de São Vicente

    Petrobras has notified BW Offshore that it will exercise its right to extend the lease and operation agreement of the FPSO BW Cidade de São Vicente for 48 days.

    OSLO, Norway – Petrobras has notified BW Offshore that it will exercise its right to extend the lease and operation agreement of the FPSO BW Cidade de São Vicente for 48 days.

    With this the contract will expire on June 11, 2020.

    BW Offshore has started planning for demobilization of the unit from the field and is considering temporary lay up in Brazil.

    The BW Cidade de São Vicente began operations for Petrobras in 2009 and has been used as a well test facility on multiple locations offshore Brazil.
