Petrobras lengthens pipelay support vessel deal

Petrobras has extended the contract for the Skandi Açu pipelay support vessel (PLSV) offshore Brazil through mid-2026.

At that point, a new three-year contract will take effect ending mid-2029.

On Aug. 1, another PLSV, Skandi Buzios, went back on-hire to Petrobras.

Both vessels are owned by Techdof, the joint venture between DOF Subsea and TechnipFMC.
