Angola’s offshore and onshore oil producing and exploration locations are segregated into defined areas or licensed blocks. Azule's operations are located in 20 blocks, both offshore and onshore. Azule directly operates eight of these blocks. The company said its expected net production in the 2023-2026 period is ~ 250 Mboe/d.
Azule Energy will operate three more blocks offshore Angola after signing risk service contracts with the country’s National Agency for Oil, Gas and Biofuels.
