In October 2019, Allseas signed a major pipeline deal with ConocoPhillips Australia. The contract included engineering, procurement, transport and installation of the 260-km Barossa Gas Export Pipeline offshore Darwin.
Santos Energy says overall construction of its Barossa gas project in the Timor Sea is now at the 67% point, with first gas expected in third-quarter 2025.
