Offshore staff
London — PGE Baltic has contracted Venterra Group company Gavin & Doherty Geosolutions (GDG) to perform supervisory geophysical and geotechnical services for the Baltica 1 wind farm development offshore Poland.
The scope includes development of a ground model and the conceptual design of foundations for subsequent design stages.
Venterra previously delivered technical services for the Baltica 2 and Baltica 3 projects.
Baltica 1 is a 900-MW wind development 80 km from the Polish coast in the Central Shoal area, north of Baltica 2 and Baltica 3 projects. It has already secured a location permit and a connection agreement.
Last month Seaway7 secured a contract by PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna and Ørsted for the transport and installation of the substations for the Baltica 2 wind farm.
