COPENHAGEN, Denmark  Cadeler has secured an agreement that will employ its new hybrid F-class offshore wind vessel from 2027 to 2030.

If the client takes up all options, the potential value will exceed Eur330 million (US$319.7 million). Cadeler may also be able to bid for the transport and installation scope.

Terms include a minimum guaranteed utilization and the provision for the client to choose to either install foundations or wind turbine generators.

The hybrid-design allows the F-class vessel to convert from foundation installation vessel to wind turbine installation mode relatively quickly. It should be delivered late in 2025.

Its first task, in 2026, will be to install turbine foundations at the Hornsea Three offshore wind farm in the UK North Sea.
