bp extends GoM engineering support arrangement with Worley, Grand Isle Shipyard

bp has contracted GW Integrated Solutions, a consortium of Worley and Grand Isle Shipyard, to provide engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction services to the company’s facilities in the US Gulf of Mexico (GoM).

SYDNEY, Australia  bp has contracted GW Integrated Solutions, a consortium of Worley and Grand Isle Shipyard, to provide engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction services to the company’s facilities in the US Gulf of Mexico (GoM).

The five-year award, a continuation of a previous five-year master services agreement, should include support for brownfield projects, turnarounds and repairs for life extension of bp’s producing assets.

The consortium will deploy technologies including EcoSys, Microsoft’s HoloLens and Power BI for the campaign, with Worley’s Houston operations supported by the group’s Global Integrated Delivery team in India.
