LEIDEN, the Netherlands – Petrogas E&P Netherlands has contracted Heerema to remove multiple oil platforms in the Dutch sector of the North Sea.
The integrated engineering, preparation, removal, and disposal program applies to the Haven, Helder, Helm, and Hoorn platforms in block Q1, with the campaign taking place over several years.
According to Heerema, Helm was the first platform on the Dutch continental shelf to produce oil when it came onstream in October 1982.
