SCHIEDAM, the NetherlandsPetrogas E&P Netherlands has contracted Enersea to perform the FEED for development of the A15 and B10 gas fields in the northern part of the Dutch North Sea.

Both fields will feature new platforms based on a tripod design with minimum facilities topsides.

The program, part of the AB Stage 2+ project, includes the basic design and a tieback to the A12 field center via a hot tap connection to an existing pipeline through the installation of a hot tap.

Gas from the two fields will thereby be able to enter the current pipeline while it remains in service. Two control umbilicals will also be connected to the A12CPP host platform.

Enersea previously undertook concept development for the two fields, and the company is also responsible for the subsea scope and brownfield modifications on the A12CPP platform.

The company will work with Cathie Associates on soil calculations for the foundations, with Versatec assisting the technical safety analysis.
