OSLO, NorwayLime Petroleum has increased its share of the license PL433 in the Norwegian Sea from 13.3% to 15.65%.

Spirit Energy operates the concession which includes the Fogelberg gas-condensate discovery.

According to Lime’s parent company Rex International Holding, the partners plan to submit a plan for development and operations around end-2022, with production starting potentially in 2025.

Lime is also participating in the Fat Canyon exploration well, 15 km (9 mi) south of the Boomerang well on the Fenja field in the Norwegian Sea.

The semisubmersible Borgland Dolphin spudded the Fat Canyon well in late September in a water depth of 241 m (791 ft).
