TEHRAN — National Iranian Oil Co. expects the South Pars Phase 11 development offshore Iran to produce first gas in February 2023, following two decades of planning.
CEO Mohsen Khojastehmehr, as reported by news service Shana, added that drilling of the four wells had entered the final stage, and the offshore pipeline was in place and completed.
As for ongoing operations in the Phase 13 development, operation of platform 13A has started with a rig mobilized recently, while further operations are also underway for the South Pars Phase 14 development.
Another priority is a maintenance program that will involve acid work on 400 wells in South Pars.
