C-NLOPB seeks feedback on potential 2023 bid round offshore Newfoundland

ST. JOHN’S, Canada — The Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board (C-NLOPB) issued a call for nominations (parcels) NL22-CFN02 on Sept. 20 in the Jeanne d’Arc region offshore Newfoundland.
The petroleum industry response to the call will help inform the board’s decision on whether to proceed with a call for bids in the Jeanne d’Arc region in spring 2023, and if so, the parcels it would offer.
Pending board approval and federal/provincial ratifications, the call for bids would close in November 2023, with successful bidders awarded licenses in early 2024.
