Offshore staff
BANGKOK, Thailand – Petronas has awarded a production-sharing contract for an exploration block offshore Sabah, Malaysia, to PTTEP HKO, a subsidiary of Thai state oil company PTTEP and SapuraOMV.
Block SB412, which is off the northwest coast of Sabah, was offered in the Malaysia Bid Round 2021.
PTTEP HKO will operate with a 60% interest. The award lifts the number of PSCs PTTEP operates in Malaysia to 12.
