Petrobras seeking offers for more fields offshore Brazil

RIO DE JANEIRO – Petrobras says the binding phase is under way on the sale of the company’s exploration, development and production rights for three shallow-water fields offshore Brazil.

The Pargo, Sergipe and Merluza clusters are respectively offshore the states of Rio de Janeiro, Sergipe, and São Paulo.

Letters are going out to interested parties qualified from the previous phase, with guidance on the divestment processes and the submission of binding proposals.
