Petrobras starts sale process for field cluster offshore northern Brazil

Petrobras has initiated the binding phase for competitive bidding for all exploration, development, and production rights associated with the shallow-water Polo Grande do Norte field.

RIO DE JANEIRO – Petrobras has initiated the binding phase for competitive bidding for all exploration, development, and production rights associated with the shallow-water Polo Grande do Norte field offshore Rio Grande do Norte state.
Currently process letters are going out to qualified parties explaining the divestment process, with guidelines for conducting due diligence and submitting binding proposals.
The fields offered, all in the offshorePotiguar basin, are understood to comprise Agulha, Arabaiana, Cioba, Oeste de Ubarana, Pescada and Ubarana.
