Production start-up pushed back at Sèmè oilfield offshore Benin

Development drilling at the Sèmè oilfield offshore Benin has run into technical difficulties, preventing start-up by year end, as planned.

Rex International Holding, which has a 76% interest in the project operator Akrake Petroleum Benin, issued the update on December 24. 

Rex International also said that that drilling operations were still in progress in an attempt to resolve the issues.
