North Sea Tyra gas field producing following five-year hiatus
Operator DNO's Trym field is back on production after a five-year shutdown, during which TotalEnergies redeveloped the Tyra field infrastructure to which Trym is tied back.
There is spare capacity at the Trym subsea template; DNO is looking to capitalize on this through a potential development of the 2013 Trym Sør, which could be brought onstream from early 2027.
Nearby are further exploration prospects that could be drilled from the Trym subsea template to extend the facility’s lifespan.
