ABERDEEN, UK – Aker BP has resumed production from the Tambar field in the Norwegian North Sea.

Operations had been suspended following an accident that caused a fatality on the supportingjackupMaersk Interceptor on Dec. 7.

According to partner Faroe Petroleum, the Tambar infill and gas lift installation program has also recommenced.

Norway’s authorities have started a full investigation into the accident with Aker BP.
