OSLO, Norway – Bridge Energy (OSE: BRIDGE) says the restart of production from the Duart field in the UK North Sea is further postponed. Bridge has a 50% working interest.

The field was due to resume operations in October 2013, following an extended outage of the host Tartan platform for maintenance and modification work. However, that program has had to be extended, meaning that Duart could remain shut in even into next spring.

TheTartan platform provides production processing services to Duart including gas lift. None of the remediation works, Bridge stresses, are related to the Duart well or the Duart field facilities.

However, the partners are still hoping to drill a well on Duart East/Duart South at some point.

In Norwegian North Sea license PL457, Bridge will participate in further exploration drilling the fall, directed at theAmol prospect and the Asha discovery.
