STAVANGER, Norway – Aker BP has awarded ALTUS Intervention a three-year frame agreement contract for well intervention services.
ALTUS will provide cased hole wireline, slickline, and tractor services on three production wells and one exploration well on theAlvheim field in the North Sea.
If Aker BP exercises options, the agreement could be extended to nine years. Operations are due to start in mid-December.
ALTUS’ existing well intervention technologies and services contracts with BP Norge, now merged to form Aker BP, will continue.
