KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia – The SapuraOMV Upstream joint venture has produced first gas from the Larak field in the SK408 production-sharing contract (PSC) offshore Sarawak.
All fields in the PSC are tied back to an existing processing facility with production transported through offshore pipelines for gas processing at the Petronas LNG complex in Bintulu.
Other discoveries are Bakong and Gorek.
This is SapuraOMV’s second upstream gas development in East Malaysia, following the SK310 B15 gas field project.
Other partners in the SK408 PSC are Sarawak Shell and Petronas.
