ÅGOTNES, Norway – Siemens Energy has contracted PSW Power & Automation to supply an E-House module for direct electric heating (DEH) of an unnamed offshore pipeline between two platforms.
The full delivery scope for the 120-metric ton (132-ton) module includes an integrated HV room, local equipment room, HVAC, seawater cooling system, and fire protection.
The module will be designed and certified for installation offshore and includes structural design, electrotechnical installation and integration of the Siemens Energy DEH system. It also features an integrated laydown deck.
Assembly and testing of the module will be performed at PSW’s facilities in Ågotnes.
