PA Resources contracts CGGVeritas for 2D off western Greenland

PA Resources has contracted CGGVeritas for up to 6,300 km (3,915 mi) of 2D seismic data offshore western Greenland to start in June.

STOCKHOLM -- PA Resources has contracted CGGVeritas for up to 6,300 km (3,915 mi) of 2D seismic data offshore western Greenland to start in June. The 2 x 4-km (1 1/4 x 2 1/2-mi) grid survey is expected to take eight to 10 weeks to complete.

With the contract in hand, PA now can apply to the Greenland authorities for an acquisition permit for the survey.
