EMGS partners with Velocitas in Barents Sea OBN survey

Electromagnetic Geoservices (EMGS) has entered into an agreement for a pre-funded ocean-bottom node (OBN) seismic survey in the Barents Sea. 

The program, a collaboration with Velocitas Geo Solutions, will be EMGS' first venture into seismic node projects.

The Atlantic Guardian vessel is due to start work on the two-week survey in the current quarter. 

Earlier this month, EMGS entered a further pre-funding agreement for a multi-client acquisition project in the North Sea.
