Aker contracts 3D from BOS

BERGEN, Norway –Aker Exploration has awarded Bergen Oilfield Services a contract for 3D marine seismic services covering 300 sq km (116 sq mi) in the Norwegian Sea.

BOS is scheduled to begin the program in 3Q 2008 using theBOS Arctic.

"We are confident that this six streamer vessel is well suited to undertake the program with superior results," says Jan Søvik, executive VP Marketing and Sales for BOS.
