WARMINSTER, UK – Autonomous Robotics Ltd. (ARL) has secured a grant-funded project from the Oil and Gas Technology Centre (OGTC) in Aberdeen and two European energy companies with a track record of using ocean bottom seismic.

The project will develop a customized seismic sensor to fit into the company’s autonomous underwater vehicle solution, Flying Node.

OGTC awarded the grant as part of its strategy to work with partners seeking to transition to a net zero objective. Its Offshore Energy 4.0 program supports remotely controlled operations involving data, robotics and autonomous systems.
