Add Energy to devise maintenance strategies for BP’s Angelin project

BP has awarded Add Energy a $0.6 million-plus maintenance build contract for the Angelin gas field development, 40 km (25 mi) offshore eastern Trinidad and Tobago.

STAVANGER, NorwayBP has awarded Add Energy a $0.6 million-plus maintenance build contract for the Angelin gas field development, 40 km (25 mi) offshore eastern Trinidad and Tobago.

Add Energy will develop a full asset maintenance build programs featuring an asset register and functional hierarchy, maintenance strategies for critical and non-critical equipment, job plans and procedures, and critical sparing.

The project includes installation of a 25-km (15.5-mi), 26-in. subsea pipeline to subsea infrastructure servingBP’s Serrette facility.

An eight-strong team will handle the program from Houston.
