BRISTOL, UK – ONGC contracts DPS (Bristol) Ltd. to act as its consultant for a proposed FPSO in the D-1 field, currently producing through a jackup converted into a MOPU.
The development scheme for the marginal field calls for installation of three new well platforms, additional wells, and placement of subsea pipelines and manifolds, says DPS. The MOPU is to be removed to dry dock for repairs when the FPSO is functioning.
