ABERDEEN -- An installation vessel has mobilized to the Premier-operated Shelley field in the UK North Sea.

On arrival it was due to perform installation and pull-in of an umbilical and production riser to allow the FPSO Sevan Voyageur to start oil production.

The FPSO will be operated under a production-sharing contract – supplier Sevan will be compensated for its actual operating cost, and will additionally receive a tariff payment based on actual monthly revenue from the field’s production.

Premier inherited Shelley following its acquisition earlier this year of all UK offshore interests formerly owned by Oilexco North Sea.
