Offshore staff
LONDON – TechnipFMC has commissioned LOC Brazil to provide marine warranty survey services for Petrobras’ Mero 1 FPSO for the Libra block project in the presalt Santos basin.
LOC’s services will apply to offshore transportation and installation of infrastructure relating to the subsea systems and production facility.
The scope includes installation of rigid lines, infield risers and flowline system for interconnection of 13 wells to the FPSO, umbilical and other subsea equipment, plus a documentation review of planned operations, surveys during load outs and surveys of all vessels used in the marine operations.
The Mero field development is in the northwestern part of the Libra block in a water depth of around 2,100 m (6,890 ft).
Petrobras’ partners are Shell, Total, CNODC and CNOOC, with state-owned Pré-Sal Petróleo SA manager of the production sharing agreement.
The program should start next year and finish by the end of 1Q 2022.
