HOUSTON – McDermott International has completed its work scope for the Pan Malaysia transportation and installation projects offshore Miri, Sarawak.

The program, awarded by Sarawak Shell/SapuraOMV in November 2018, included T&I of jackets, topsides, and pipelines for the Gorek, Larak and Bakong gas fields.

McDermott’s Derrick Barge 30 installed the structures and pipelines, which included what the company claims is Malaysia’s longest corrosion-resistant alloy pipeline to date.

It also fabricated risers and spools at its yard in Batam, Indonesia.
