LONDONPetrofac has negotiated two new framework agreements (FAs) for the provision of engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning services in the UK North Sea.

One is a three-year award by EnQuest, covering the company’s North Sea and onshore facilities.

The other, from an unnamed operator in the southern gas basin, runs initially for two years with extension options.

Petrofac has now agreed to seven framework arrangements in the UK sector this year. The company’s Aberdeen office, which is supporting the various programs, is investing in its engineering team and brownfield management system as part of its ongoing digitalization strategy.

Nick Shorten, managing director for the company’s Engineering and Production Services business in the Western Hemisphere, said: “The award of these FAs recognizes our ability to combine our extensive engineering and construction expertise and offshore operations experience to drive repeatable project outcomes.”
