NPCC, Petrofac to collaborate on offshore UAE Belbazem FEED

ABU DHABI, UAE – National Petroleum Construction Co. (NPCC) and Petrofac will jointly perform front-end engineering design (FEED) for the Belbazem block development project offshore Abu Dhabi.

The client is Al Yasat Petroleum, ADNOC’s joint venture with China’s CNPC.

NPCC/Petrofac’s work scope includes a proposal for engineering, procurement, construction, and installation of the facilities, with execution of the EPCI work to be awarded on a design competition basis.

Ahmed Al Dhaheri, CEO of NPCC, said: “ADNOC and its group companies are strategic partners…and we have together achieved a number of milestones including the recent load-out of one of the world’s largest offshore oil platforms to mark the completion of phase two of Umm Lulu’s super complex development.

“We are committed to supporting ADNOC’s expansion plans to increase their production capacity from 4 MMb/d by the end of 2020 to 5 MMb/d by 2030…”
