Kosmos Energy continues to progress development planning for its Tiberius discovery in the US Gulf of Mexico, the company said in a results update.

It expects to complete a farm-down of the field in Keathley Canyon Block 964 around the time of project sanction. Last year Kosmos said it was working on a potential subsea tieback to the Occidental-operated Lucius spar platform.

At the Beacon Energy-operated Winterfell development, the Winterfell-1 and 2 wells were restored to production late last year. Following current remedial work, Winterfell-3 should come online next month, with the rig then drilling Winterfell-4.

Offshore Mauritania and Senegal, the bp-led partnership is working on a low-cost brownfield expansion of the recently onstream Greater Tortue Ahmeyim gas-condensate development using the existing infrastructure.

The Noble Venturer drillship is due to start drilling one new producer and one new injector well in May at the Jubilee field offshore Ghana, with both set to go online during the third quarter.

The rig will then depart for maintenance before returning in 2026 for a planned four-well drilling campaign.
