Masirah concludes latest Yumna wells campaign offshore Oman

MUSCAT, Oman — Masirah Oil has completed a multi-well program at the Yumna oil field in Block 50 offshore Oman.

This included the Yumna-5 well, drilled at the crest of the structure to drain attic oil left un-swept by the existing producers, and workovers of the Yumna-4, Yumna-2 and Yumna-3 wells.

Masirah is working to optimize production from the field pending a project to improve and increase the flowline’s water and oil production capacity once the monsoon season ends in September.
