CALGARY, Canada – Canadian Natural Resources plans to grow its international light crude oil production by 2% next year, targeting 42,000-46,000 b/d.

The budget covers 3.9 new net production wells in the UK North Sea and 0.6 net production wells at the Baobab field offshore Cȏte d’Ivoire.

Cȏte d’Ivoire programs will include the start of Phase 4 of the offshore Espoir field development, which looks set to come onstream in early 2020; and an exploration well on the Kossipo prospect.

If successful, development drilling will follow with a pipeline tied-back to the Baobab FPSO, potentially lifting production capability to 20,000 b/d in 2022.
