Ensco cleared to resume tendering for Petrobras operations

Petrobras and Ensco have agreed to settle all claims relating to the ENSCO DS-5 drilling services agreement.

RIO DE JANEIRO – Petrobras and Ensco have agreed to settle all claims relating to the ENSCO DS-5 drilling services agreement.
Terms of the agreement are confidential, but Petrobras stressed that neither party will make payments in connection with the settlement.
The two companies also agreed to normalize business relations, which will allow Ensco to participate in current and future Petrobras tenders on the same basis as all other invited contractors.
