DHAHRAN, Saudi Arabia
-- Gazprom Neft has signed a memorandum of cooperation with Saudi Aramco, extending their partnership in the oil and gas industry.

The two companies plan to collaborate in various areas, including drilling and well workover technologies, improvements to pumping systems, and development of large-scale non-metal pipes.

They are also open to joint R&D and experimental engineering ventures, and to applying innovative solutions to a wide range of technological challenges.

A separate area of collaboration could include employee training at both companies’ production facilities.

In addition, they may decide to work together on the production of equipment for oil and gas field developments, localizing production either in Russia or Saudi Arabia.
