HAMILTON, Bermuda – BW Energy has awarded Borr Drilling a letter of intent for the Dussafu project offshore Gabon.
The BMC Pacific class jackupNorve, built at PPL Shipyard in Singapore, will drill and complete two subsea development wells. The rig is due to mobilize from Limbe, Cameroon, in December and start the 140-160 day program in January 2018.
Borr acquired theNorve, which can operate in water depths up to 400 ft (122 m) and which has offline capabilities, this May.
