LONDON – Ensco plc says it now has possession of the ENSCO 69 jackup drilling rig. When Ensco terminated its contract with the Petrosucre subsidiary of Venezuela’s PDVSA for non-payment, Petrosucre said it would operate the rig without Ensco consent.
Personnel recently were given access to the rig and it now is in Trinidad.
