OSLO, Norway – The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate has sanctioned Det norske oljeselskap’s use of the Mærsk Guardian for an exploration well in the North Sea.
Well 3/4-2 S will be the first drilled in production license 356, which covers an area north of theTrym field, and comprises parts of blocks 3/4 and 3/5.
The license was awarded under Norway’s APA 2005 round.
