Archer gets long-term North Sea platform drilling extension

HAMILTON, Bermuda — Archer will provide platform drilling operations and maintenance services over a five-year period on seven UK offshore installations for an unnamed operator.

The contract is due to start on Nov. 1, in direct continuation of Archer’s current contract, with options for an additional four years.

The scope includes provision of intervention support, well services, facilities engineering support and equipment rental.
