Archer gets extension for North Sea platform wells contract

STAVANGER, Norway – Archer has gained a two-year contract extension from an unnamed UK North Sea operator covering platform drilling operations and maintenance services on seven installations.
Under the extension, which takes effect on Nov. 1, the company will continue to manage these tasks, also providing intervention support, well services, and rental equipment.
In addition, Archer’s engineering team will undertake one rig reactivation, and deliver brownfield engineering and operational preparations support to the other six facilities.
