LYNGBY, Denmark – Total has awarded Maersk Drilling a three-well contract for the drillship Maersk Voyager offshore Angola.
The estimated 140-day program involves drilling development wells in block 17. Firm value is $30 million, including the provision of integrated drilling services.
Two one-well options included in the Maersk Voyager’s previously agreed work scope for Total remain valid.
The Maersk Voyager started operations for the company in Angola in January, although these were soon suspended due to COVID-19 restrictions. Activities resumed in late August.
